Welcome. I have been thatching in and around Dorset for over 15 years and am passionate about thatching as well as everything associated with the craft. I am proud to be a member of Dorset Master Thatchers’ Association. I work on all aspects of thatching from growing the straw, coppicing hazel for spars to laying the reed on for patches, porches, ridges and total re-thatch. Liaising with home owners, architects, builders, conservation and planning officers to produce the highest quality results. I ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety are met while thatching.
